All About Me

I am Yolanda "Yoyo" Cross-Craig, BSc, RDMS (ABD, OB/GYN), RVT, a diagnostic medical sonographer, educator, entrepreneur, and healthcare advocate passionate about expanding access to care and creating opportunities for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

I founded AddUs Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to help bridge gaps in healthcare access, education, patient advocacy, and community support. Through that mission, I created The SOUNDWAVE Pipeline: An Open Door to Imaging, an educational and workforce-development initiative that introduces high school students to careers in ultrasound and diagnostic medical imaging.

SOUNDWAVE provides students with career exploration, hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world exposure while helping build a strong local healthcare talent pipeline. By introducing students to these careers early, we can cultivate future imaging professionals from within our own communities—creating pathways to meaningful careers while helping local healthcare organizations develop the skilled workforce they need.

My goal is to open doors for students, strengthen our local healthcare workforce, and create a sustainable pipeline of homegrown talent that can serve our communities for years to come.
